The Catalan
Football Federation (FCA) on Sunday canceled 376 matches between local
and friendly matches on a day of security squabbles over a referendum on
secession from Spain.
According to a statement by the Catalan Football Federation, out of 605 official matches scheduled for Sunday in football and five-football, 246 official matches and 130 friendly matches were canceled.
On Sunday, the province witnessed clashes between security forces and voting participants to prevent their voting in the referendum, which the central government considers unconstitutional
