Former Italian coach Bayern Munich coach Carlo Ancelotti wants a new challenge at Premiership next season.
Ancelotti has already led Chelsea to the Premiership title for the 2009-2010 season, along with the UEFA Cup in the same season.
"Ancelotti has decided not to sign with any team this season and to enjoy the holiday and wants to return to the English Premier League, specifically to train Arsenal behind Arsene Wenger," said Mediset Premium Sport.
The veteran coach does not want to return to Italy to coach AC Milan or the Azzurri until 2020 and wants another experience at Premiership.
Bayern Munich announced in an official statement late Thursday that Ancelotti would be sacked after a slump in the team and a recent 3-0 loss to Paris St Germain in the Champions League.
Ancelotti has been offered by the Chinese club Guangzhou Evergrand to lead the team in the coming period, succeeding Luis Felipe Scolari, whose contract expires in November.
Ancelotti won the Bundesliga and Super League twice with the Bavarian and led him to the quarter-finals of the Champions League last season before coming out against Real Madrid
